So I hung out with this beast for a while.
Picked up my commuter from Willy. Now that I have a 14t cog installed, I'm fairly certain that I will be walking up some of the hills on my way home from work.
This is how I roll to work - lights, coffee, lunch and pepper spray.
Picked up our weekly food supply from the farmers market and Trader Joe's. I've been trying to keep the eating to weight ratio in check but it's tough when you're not pushing the pedals for 12 or so hours each week.
Plus work stress and job instability have been a driving force in the erosion of my will power with regards to stuffing treats down my pie hole. It should be noted that my work-life balance might greatly increase after next week, but for now it's TBD.
Did a little of this to help alleviate my frustrations about not being able to train. Blah.
Tomorrow is the Battle of Camrock WORS race. This was slated as my first A race of the season. Based on the last power test that I took, my power to weight would have been around 4.2 watts/kg. Very solid. And I was pretty excited about taking the king daddy upgrade of all upgrades. Instead I have this...
A PMC that looks like my naughty little cat drew all over a piece of paper with a crayola crayon. This is not desirable. Double blah.
To combat my case of the blahs, I'll probably head out to CamRock to watch the races and cheer everyone on.
